When Og, last of Denmora’s Jotunn Kings, still walked the world in flesh, Guul'Rath was already a lich of terrifying power.
It was his acolytes who built the city of Setrek, where he reigned supreme centuries before it fell to Rakshakin, Djinn, and later, demons.
But his forces could not withstand the endless legions of Og. After a war that lasted for years, the city was conquered by the Jotunn King’s armies.
Og, ever cunning, spared the lich and welcomed him as an ally.
Legends say that Og’s undeath was made possible only through Guul'Rath’s forbidden rites.
The necropolis where the lich rests is said to lie east of Setrek. Even the demons of Baal avoid that cursed region: necromantic energy there is so potent that even the dunes above are strewn with skeletons.
